Background and Training

I completed my medical training at St. George’s University School of Medicine and my residency in psychiatry at Maimonides Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY. I am board-certified in adult psychiatry by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology and I am licensed to practice medicine in New York State.

Over the years, I have worked in various clinical settings, which has given me a broad perspective on mental health care. I have extensive training in psychopharmacology and psychotherapy. In addition to my private practice, I serve as clinical faculty and staff psychiatrist at NYU and Bellevue Hospital in Manhattan.
